Promotional Magnets
That Actually Get Kept.

Most promotional items end up in the trash within days. A photo magnet goes on the fridge or the office filing cabinet and stays there for years. Every day it's up, your brand gets a free impression.

Trade show booths, product launch events, grand openings, and fundraiser tables all use them for the same reason: they're useful, personal, and memorable in a way that branded pens are not.

Where They Work

Events and campaigns
that use photo magnets.

Trade shows and expos

Booth visitors pick up dozens of items and throw most of them away by the time they get home. A photo magnet with a team photo or product image is different enough to stand out. Place a stack on your table with a sign inviting people to take one.

Product launches and grand openings

A photo from your opening day, your product, or your team makes a compelling keepsake. Guests take home a physical reminder of the event that stays visible in their kitchen rather than getting buried in a bag.

Fundraisers and nonprofit campaigns

A photo magnet with your cause's imagery or a compelling photo from your work keeps donors connected between campaigns. It's a tangible reminder of what their support funds.

Corporate events and team recognition

Team photos, department milestones, and company anniversaries all make strong magnet content. Staff put them in their home offices, and the magnet becomes a conversation piece that extends your culture beyond the office.

Where to put them at events

Dessert tables and food stations are the highest-traffic spots at most events. People linger there, and they're already in a positive mindset. A small stack of magnets next to the food with a "take one" sign gets picked up consistently.

Registration and check-in desks are another natural placement. Guests are already stopping there, and a magnet handed personally by staff feels more intentional than one left on a table.

For swag bags, a magnet is more likely to be kept than almost anything else in the bag. It's the item that comes out first when someone unpacks.

ROI Perspective

A two-year ad
for under $3.

A 50-pack of magnets costs $117.99, which is $2.36 per magnet. If a magnet stays on someone's fridge for two years, that's two years of daily brand impressions for $2.36 total.

Compare that to a digital ad impression, which costs fractions of a cent but lasts a fraction of a second. A magnet impression lasts as long as the magnet stays on the fridge.

The math only works because magnets are genuinely useful objects. People keep them because they're good magnets with a photo that means something, not just because they're branded.

For large marketing campaigns requiring more than 50 magnets, use our wholesale inquiry form for per-unit pricing on higher quantities.

Image Types That Work

Choose an image
people want to keep.

The most effective promotional magnets use images that feel personal or visually compelling, not just a logo on a white background.

Team photo

Puts faces to your brand. People keep photos of people.

Product shot

Works well for physical products with strong visual identity.

Event photo

A photo from the actual event makes the magnet a keepsake of that day.

Cause imagery

Nonprofits: a photo from your work in the field is more compelling than a logo.

Branded design

Logo plus a strong visual or tagline. Works best with bold, high-contrast designs.

FAQ

Promotional magnet
questions answered.

What is the minimum quantity for promotional magnets?

Our standard shop sells packs of up to 50. For larger promotional runs, use the wholesale inquiry form and we'll quote your quantity. There is no formal minimum for the online shop.

Can I put our company logo on the magnets?

Yes. Upload any image that includes your logo as part of the design. We print exactly what you upload. If you want a logo combined with a staff photo or product image, prepare the composite in any design tool before uploading.

How far in advance should I order for a trade show or event?

We prepare standard orders for shipment. For large runs requiring a wholesale quote, allow at least 5-7 business days from quote approval to delivery. If you have a specific event date, contact us first so we can confirm the timeline.

What image types work best for promotional giveaways?

Team photos, product shots, event-branded graphics, and photos of your space or storefront all work well. The key is that the image should be recognizable at 2-3 inches. High-contrast images with clear subjects read better than busy backgrounds.

Are photo magnets actually better than pens and tote bags?

For long-duration brand exposure, yes. A pen runs out and gets tossed. A tote bag competes with dozens of others. A photo magnet goes on the fridge and stays there for years. The per-impression cost over its lifespan is lower than almost any other promotional item.

Can I order different photos in the same batch?

Each order is a single image printed across your chosen quantity. If you want multiple different images (e.g. different staff members), place separate orders for each image. Contact us if you need a custom arrangement for a large run.
